Our Little Prince

Fiesta is a big celebration here in San Antonio. Rylan's daycare asked me to bring a white onesie on Monday so they could bedazzle it for the Fiesta Parade later in the week. Rylan was going to be a part of the Royal Court. I thought this was absolutely hilarious and couldn't wait to see some pictures of this big celebration. Parents, family, and friends were invited to come to the parade but unfortunately I couldn't make it. Matt was able to go though and said it was a blast to see how excited the parents and kids were. When Rylan's buggy made it's grand entrance into the parade Rylan got a huge smile across his face from all the attention and excitement. Here are some pictures from the day. Apparently Rylan ate his crown right before the parade, so that's why he's the only one without a fancy crown on.

The Best Age

Rylan and Dad at Rylan's 6 Month Appointment

People have always told me that 6 months is the best age. So far, every stage has been even better than the last, but I'm really starting to believe that it can't get much better than 6 months. Rylan is such a happy baby and just laughs, smiles, babbles, cuddles and plays with us all day long.

Rylan's stats from his 6 month appointment: 18.45 lbs (70%) and 28 inches long (90%). Another milestone to note: Rylan's first tooth broke through yesterday and it came with only a slight fever and a little fussiness. Phew! One down, um.... (how many teeth do we have?) lots more to go:).
